A photographic study of light and dark, set in the house designed and built by JMW Turner. The nature of the work was reflected in the choice of materials; a range of coloured papers – running from white, through greys to black – were used for covers, endpapers and chapter dividers. A limited number of books were also presented in a custom-made box including four C-type prints.
