The book documents a series of BMX dirt ramps hidden in the woods. An uncoated off-white stock and gritty brown cover material were selected for the book to reflect the earthy nature of the photography. A simple 3-hole thread sewing allows Purdom’s images to lie flat across the book, while the translucent end papers and subtly embossed cover typography echo ‘Under’s’ title.
